DAY 1: Arrival in Chau Doc from Phnom Penh (NO TOUR GUIDE- Only Online Assistance

  • 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM | Harbor Pickup: Welcome guests upon arrival at the Chau Doc international boat station after their speedboat ride from Phnom Penh. Transfer to hotel by private car/rickshaw.
  • Check-In & Relax: Check into the hotel and unpack.
  • Evening Free Time: Guests have the evening to rest, explore Chau Doc night market, or enjoy dinner along the riverbank at their own pace.

DAY 2: EXPLORE ONE OF THE BIGGEST NATURE RESERVES OF MEKONG DELTA

  • Departure time:7.30am at hotel in Chau Doc and start our day trip with local guides . We will have breakfast and lunch for you on our way. 
  • Transportation: boat, car
  • Duration: 9-10 hours

Highlight attractions: We pick you up at 7.30am depending on where you stay in Chau Doc. Then start the tour.

  • TA NGAO PAGODA: Tà Ngáo Pagoda, is a beautiful Khmer Theravāda Buddhist temple with over 200 years of history. More than just a place of worship, the pagoda plays an important cultural and educational role in the local Khmer community. Here, Khmer monks teach the Khmer language to children, helping preserve their heritage. They also offer free food—collected during daily khất thực (alms rounds) and share it with both the community and visitors. Children can also learn to play traditional Khmer musical instruments, such as the chha-dăm drum and other cultural ensembles. Tà Ngáo Pagoda is a peaceful and vibrant space where spirituality, education, and tradition come together. THE KHMER WEAVING VILLAGE AND COME BACK LATER
  • Head to Khmer Village where you see people weaving their clothes in Khmer style which is a very special activity to see that locals still do all their work by hand. You can also bring some “handcrafted scarf or clothes home”. 

Lunch during tours provided by us. You will have lunch at Khmer pagoda or if you have a special request for allergy, we will have it at a local restaurant and enjoy the specialty dishes here.

  • During the rainy season, there will be no palm sugar making activity, as the palm trees do not produce juice at this time, and climbing becomes dangerous due to slippery conditions. In place of this, we will arrange an alternative experience, such as a visit to Trà Sư cajuput forest or another meaningful activity. We will inform you of the updated plan one day before departure. Thank you for your understanding!
  • Trà Sư Cajuput Forest, located in An Giang Province, is a stunning wetland ecosystem known for its rich biodiversity and peaceful natural scenery. Visitors can explore the forest by paddle boat, gliding through green canals shaded by cajuput trees and covered in vibrant duckweed.   • Return to the hotel – After a full day of exploration, relax and unwind at your accommodation around 5pm.
